| Project today was to pull the upper intake and all that it entails to have it and other parts sent out to be chromed. Difficultly rating about a 7 out of 10 unless you've done this many times like a shop, Bernie, Spree or aliaZ and others. Starts out like this.
Now here's the Challenge. Doing it with a broken right hand and I'm right handed. Also doing it by yourself on purpose.
Think about that for a second, take away the hand you use the most. Not so easy now is it, lol. 
Yes, I asked for a Black cast :)
Hose's, fuel lines, balance tube, coil packs all gone, etc. Going well so far
While pulling Injector wires, I noticed the modification done to the intake where you can get to every injector screw without pulling the mainfold.
Has anyone else come across this? I've seen this in a write up long ago where some have done it, but if you grind to much you could ruin the intake.
I've owned this car since Spring of 99 and this is the first intake pull I've done on it.
Here's the only part where I almost called it quits. Trying to get these EGR bolts off.
As you can see, their upside down and crammed the hell in there.
I won't even go into how hard this was for me to get these out on both sides.
Old parts to the left, new to the right. The cam gears are for the Supra if your're wondering. Supra's TRD hood is in the box behind.
So after much patients and frustration I got to here. The valve covers are coming off to be powder coated Yellow.
Other parts coming off to be chromed or replaced with chrome are: PS tank
Brake fill cap
CAS
Balance tube
Coil packs
all the nuts and bolts
Intake
Throttle bodies and linkage/springs ( 3" upgrade too )
Hard pipe kit Still have to put on the dual pop kit and other crap. The ECU's in already.
Tad rusty here, but are stock injector's this color? Bernie would know this.
Number 4 is dead, that's what started the whole 740 conversion process. 
After done, this is how dirty this hand got. 
Not to bad, it was used to pinch parts and tools best it could, lol. 
That's all I had time for today. The lawn is calling and look at that grass how tall it is, lol.
Plus I get my girls every weekend and I spend most all of it with them. Just wanted to share my day with the Z. It's been awhile.
